How we handle your information.

This page explains what information ponk.ventures collects, why, and what happens to it. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.

Visiting the site

Reading this site collects nothing about you. The public site runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. It stores your cookie choice on your device and, if you allow it, the timezone you chose in the scheduler. The cookie policy lists both. The web host records standard request logs, including the IP address and the page requested, to keep the site running and to defend it against abuse.

Scheduling a conversation

When you book a conversation through the form on this site, we collect the information you enter and the information needed to hold the meeting:

• Name and email address, so we know who we are meeting and can send you the details.
• Company or organization, if you choose to give it.
• What you would like to discuss, in your own words.
• The date, time and timezone you chose.

Your IP address is checked when the form is submitted, so that the form cannot be flooded. It is kept only for that purpose and only briefly.

How it is used

We use what you give us to confirm the conversation, to send a confirmation and any change or cancellation notice by email, to prepare for the meeting, and to follow up on the conversation itself. Booking a conversation does not sign you up to any mailing list.

Who sees it

Your information is seen by the people at Ponk Ventures who take the meeting. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own use. The site, its database and its email delivery run on infrastructure provided by Cloudflare, which processes the data on our behalf in order to run the service.

Keeping and removing it

Each booking is kept as a record of the conversation, including bookings that were cancelled or moved. The link in your confirmation lets you view or cancel the booking yourself. If you want the record deleted, or want to know what we hold about you, write to hello@ponk.ventures from the email address you booked with and we will act on it.

The manage link

Your confirmation contains a link that opens your booking without a password. Anyone with the link can view or cancel that one booking and nothing else, so treat it as you would a ticket.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
